Got my 1st paycheck in my life!

Although it is a small amount for the 4 days I worked in the company, the feeling of receiving a paycheck rocks! I am gona get the money into my account soon [:

2nd Day @ Work

Got a prank call from Ameer. That idiot can be smarter by not using Min Zhen HP, he make me sounded so dumb by answering all his questions, but he really made my day. Hope they are doing fine in NEA [:

I manage to get internet connection at my computer, but need my colleague user id. Manage to go MSN but no time to chat either [:

First day @ Work

I am attached to the Finance Department (GL), I saw alot of numbers as I am doing lots of accounts my weakest link but my department people are very friendly. During lunch, can sense the political issue in the whole finance department, it really let me know how the real work is like.

The company very smart, they dont give the temporary stuff or attachment students access to the internet, which means you wont see me online during working hours!

Should I be worried for YOU?

FAC 2006

Woodgrove got 3rd in the North district, something they didnt expect but at least they got something back for the unit this year. Remember what you guys have promisd me? Especially Jason, Khee Rui and Sufi, the trophy for the next competition shall be a long-waited present to everyone in WGS [:


I cant believe it when my SBM senior has been bullied by people who think that they have the right. It is so saddening to hear that she has to spend late nights getting things done while the rest are enjoying themselves? She is doing more than what she needs to do. I cant believe this kind of things are happending. RARR.

Last paper today, it marks the end of my sleepless nights but it also marks the start of my attachment; a new chapter in my polytechnic years. I am looking forward to the working world, I will be working full time at a listed company for 11 weeks, somewhere that I can learn and improved myself.

Letting go may not be easy but many have done it, so I believe it will not be a problem for me. As I am starting on a new chapter, I would like to have some changes; less worries, more time for my friends, my family and myself.

It has wrote many beautiful chapters in my 'Lifestory'. It has bring me this far; from a nobody to somebody, it has teach me many skills that I can't learn from a book and let me know a group of wonderful friends, I will want the beautiful memories to stay with me.

All these years have been wonderful for many of us, we learn, we fall and we pick ourselves up again. Went through thick and thin together and laughed at ourselves most of the time, not forgetting our favourite gossip time, it has brought us close together.

Someone once told me: " All of you are now growing under our shadows and it is not good, so we shall let you guys receive the sunlight, water and nutrients." Years have passed and I have grown to a tall tree today.

I believe what most of us need now is a rest, a good rest. [:

Customer Behaviour paper is a killer, but I think I would not fail.

I am pissed. I dont mind lending them my notes after knowing that they have done their own notes and used mine as a reference. I dont like the fact that some of them will be relying on my notes for tomorrow paper. This is the 2nd time that my IP is being circulated around to the benefits of others. It is not that I am selfish but I hate feeling especially when they did better than me without much effort.

It sucks!

My LO called me while I was sleeping! There is some confussion about the OIPP and local IPP, and it make me very dissapointed as they have made both Jun Xiong and I so excitied about the OIPP.

We just pray that the school is sending students over for attachment and both of us will be selected. As of now, I will just concentrate on my local IPP and hope for the best. Local IPP is good but OIPP will be a bonus for me [:

My hp bullied me, all my sms are gone! I cant believe it happend, it just happily delete my 1000+ sms! Manage to restore some as I have backup in my desktop but there are many which I lost them forever ]:

JOAN OW went jogging! Yes, I went for a jog around my estate. Although it was only a short distance, the feeling was great. Just jogged till I am tired, I do not need to think of anything!

I have got to know my attachment company, GES Singapore Pte Ltd, didnt know what the company does and I cant be bothered as I am aiming for some other area for attachment!

Have been studying in the school library for the past 1 week, even Saturday. My creative MP4 have been my companion which is always tune to YES 933, I tried to smsed in yesterday to delicate songs and here the message goes:

Studied in the library till evening before I made my way down to Marina square to meet my batch mates for dinner and coffee. I had a great time catching up with each other and with all the jokes and drama actions, we cant stop laughing [:

The feeling suck to the core, it is just like 1 year ago. It seems like history is repeating itself.

National Camp 2006

Back from National Camp 2006, not as participant like 4 years ago but as a section leader now. My partner for alpha company platoon 5 is Nicholas, he look and acted like Ambrose!

Had lots of fun with the alpha kids, as usual I was one of the 'motivator' for the company. It feels great when the kids cheered at the top of their voice and enjoying themselves.

Didnt take part in most of the activities as need to look after the safety of the kids and I was out of camp on the 3rd day of camp due to ED @ NYP.

Some funny things happend in the company which makes all the section leaders laughed till mad and I believe it is part of our nat camp memories

It was a great experiences stepping into Pasir Laba again my 2nd national camp, it brings back alot of memories for those who were there 4 years ago. [:

Happy National Day!

My last duty as an usher for NDP 2006, it was fun but the feeling is different, it maybe due to that we have been doing the same thing for weeks! I really enjoyed myself with my group of ushers who are stationed outside the stadium!

Today was also the last day, the GOH will formed up infornt of me before they marched in. Whee! They still look good in their no. 1 [: Watched the performance at the grandstand again, with the 100% firework display, it was really great [:

We are the one who welcomed the audiences before the show and we were the one who send the audiences out the stadium [: I felt appreciated when they thanked us for our hard work, some even took photographs with us [:

It was really a great NDP 2006 experience! A NS guy proposed to her girlfriend during the post-NDP party, it was soo sweet, how to reject the guy when he proposed in front of thousands of participants?

Not my day

Walked to mrt station today, but who knows I didnt bring my ez-link card , so have to buy the standard card for the train which is so expensive! ]:

I "tau pok" my friends in the lift and the lift stopped for a moment, we were scared that we will be trapped in the lift. We kept pressing the lift button and it decided to moved again. It scared the hell out of all of us, especially me. ]:

Had driving lesson today, did all the wrong things. ]:

I believe it ends off well, with everyone's help and contributions in all ways. The kids enjoyed themselves and put on their best performance for Link Talentime 2006. [:

I have learnt alot from this event, and I hope everyone involved in the event learnt too [:

Finally it is over, no more projects on hand that require 100% attention which means I can focus on my studies and end my poly life with Vibrantly and Colours [:

Went for NYAA Gold Award interview today, everything went well and hope I will get the confirmation letter soon, and I will be 1 step closer to GAHA. [:

Ying Shya, NYP NYAA Students' Club student affiars officer left NYP today. She is the one who got me started with my NYAA Gold and nominated me to be the president of the club. Now that she has left NYP, the next time I see her will be on 5th Oct, the day I got my NYAA award so I must really pass my interview on Wednesday.
